I grew up with Tom in Georgetown, I think he was a year ahead of me in school. In May of 2012 my husband underwent a heart transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. During the 15 months we were there we met and became friends with several kidney transplant patient, both recipients and those still waiting. I'm praying for both of you for safe and successful surgeries, and for your families as they go through the long wait. I hope someone will keep this site updated when the day arrives.
