Four Weeks (almost)

Another uneventful follow-up visit with the transplant team. My lab work is all within range. Blood pressure appears to be stable. Pulse is still somewhat high, but the doctor is unconcerned, at least for now. Swelling in my feet and ankles continues to subside, albeit slowly. Incision continues to heal on schedule. I no longer have to track my fluid intake and output each day.

Given the progress, it will now be two weeks between checkups instead of one and only one lab per week instead of two. The doctor is tired of seeing his boring patient.

On the home front, I still have the same restrictions in place. I do as much walking as I can to get my conditioning and strength back.

Three cheers for boring!
