Two Months

Yes, today marks two months since the transplant. Nothing new to report, which is a good thing. Over the last two weeks I've been gradually returning to the office while doing my best to pace myself and not overdo it. I've also been able to do more around the house as I build up my strength and endurance.

It's nice to be able to ride the tractor again. I do go a little slower than normal, and I don't make sudden maneuvers. Still, it's two hours of not having to think about anything, and in this case listening to a Mark Knopfler concert along the way.

Of course, while I was riding around and around, Nancy, Mollie, and Annie were otherwise occupied.

Many thanks once again to them for doing things that I can't.

Later they talked me into joining them for an activity that resulted from a Mother's Day gift to Nancy from Mollie and Annie. It went well, and they produced some lovely paintings.

I'll let you guess which masterpiece is mine.

That's a snippet of where we are after two months. What a gift!
