Nancy bought us some fresh Hatch green chiles which I roasted this evening. Messy work, but tastefully rewarding. Then again, I made the mistake of cleaning them barehanded, for which I'm still paying. Oh well....
By the way, the connection to my kidney is that Tom likes to get these freshly roasted roadside.
