Big change, actually. On December 31 I will be retiring. Our pre-transplant plan had been for me to work until 2020 or so. However, the events and developments of the last several months prompted reconsideration. After allowing time to settle into my new life and lots of discussion, consideration, consultation, and prayer, Nancy and I decided that the time is now.
We're excited about entering this new stage of our life together. We haven't made lots of plans yet, just talked about possibilities. The very fact that we have the opportunity is a gift, and for that we're very thankful.
