Next Tuesday (May 5) is actually the six week point, but due to schedules, I met with the doctor today. He didn't have much to say other than that I was doing great. My labs and vitals continue to be in range. A couple of meds are being adjusted. Labs will now be once a week, and my next follow-up with the doctor is in 3-4 weeks.
The doctor said it's a little early to modify some of the restrictions that I've been under, but since I'm doing so well, he's ok with starting to gradually loosen the reins. I'm allowed to drive, if a test run goes ok. I can start interacting with people, but I have to avoid anyone who is sick or who has been exposed to illness, and I have to continue to be scrupulous about hand-washing. I can start going back to the office next week, albeit on a very limited basis. The big concerns are avoiding infections and not getting worn down, which still happens fairly quickly when I'm active.
All in all, continued good news. I'm looking forward to continuing to regain my strength and resuming normal activities.
great news you are doing well
