Last Thursday marked the 36th anniversary of my start at LIS. Not bad, considering I was a messenger and never intended to stay beyond learning computer programming a couple of years later. It's been a good run, and when I walk away in a couple of months, it will be with many good friends and memories and benefits.
Monday was the 60th anniversary of my birth. We spent Sunday in St. Louis with the kids, then had an enjoyable Monday topped by dinner with good friends.
These are big milestones and reminders of how very blessed I am. I'm thankful for that and for everything that is yet to come.
