Paperwork and Bugs

Not topics one expects to see together, but I didn't want to create two separate posts.

I have filed my paperwork for retirement. We're very excited by this opportunity and looking forward to what it may bring. While there are obviously no guaranties, circumstances certainly continue to point to this being the correct choice for us at this time.

One of those pointers is the decision by  the agency board and the legislative leaders on my successor as executive director. I wholeheartedly support their choice and look forward to how he will lead the agency forward from here.

As for the bug, I picked up one over the weekend. Nothing serious, but enough to knock me down for a couple of days. It's the first one since summer, so I'm thankful for that and that it isn't worse.
