Moving in the right direction!

Dad had really restful sleep last night, and woke up motivated and ready to get going today. His numbers are stable again, and his pain level is significantly manageable, and he was cleared for food and walking! He helped me finish off some tricky crossword puzzles, and we got to eat breakfast together. :) So far he's only walked to the bathroom, but if you'd seen him Tuesday, or even yesterday, you'd know this is a big improvement! New socks, a new gown, a bath and his hair washed, with food in his belly, he feels (and smells) like a new person. ;)

I've got to head back to St. Louis for a bit of work, so Nurse Nancy is on full duty now, but because of how well he's doing, it should be a much smoother road from here.

Oh, and D'Artagnan is pumping out a creatnine level of 1.2! Woot!

  1. So glad to hear this! He's had a tall order with this surgery, but sound like he has it all figured out! Keep up the good work, and good trip home to you!
