Quick Update

The surgeon told me this morning that if the nephrologist agrees and I'm personally ready, he'll release me to go home today. That's a lot of progress over the last couple of days. My tech came in this morning (who hadn't seen me since Tuesday, when things were not going well at all), and was astonished to see me moving on my own. It really has been a remarkable recovery from a very bad situation.

Thanks to everyone for all of the support for me and Nancy and all of our family. I have to believe it made a huge difference in this outcome, and we are all very grateful for it. Such a wonderful gift!
