We've passed the second anniversary of the transplant with flying colors, along with the first anniversary of the nephrectomy. Kidney function continues to be great, people keep telling me I look great, and I continue to feel great. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
The side effect I'm dealing with now is that the two surgeries and related developments took a toll on my physical fitness. I've really noticed a loss of strength, especially in my core. So, I'm working on that, although I despise doing exercises. I'm hoping that getting back to outside chores and projects will help with it, too.
There isn't much more to say, although it's always appropriate to express my utter and continual gratitude and amazement for the gift I've been given. That said, I don't anticipate posting here again unless something significant occurs. Thanks for reading and for your support.
What a gift!
Thanks for update.... think of you often.... wonderful gift of life. Enjoy getting back in shape.... it's a struggle to stay in shape even without surgeries... Love and Blessings.... Susan
