One of the hassles we've had with this blog is having to distribute the links to new posts through various methods. [If you rely on my FB posts to follow the blog, you've missed a couple of recent updates already.] I think I've finally gotten things set up for those who are interested in being notified when there's a new blog post by using the option to sign up for email updates.
The following should show up after the comments area near the bottom of any blog page:
Get Email Alerts When There Is A New Post
- Clicking on the link will give you the opportunity to enter your email address and verify that you're not a robot.
- Once you submit that, you'll get an email asking you to confirm the subscription.
- That done, you'll be signed up to get an email whenever something new is posted to the blog (and nothing else - no spam).
- [There are also options for signing up to a news feed; I have not tested them.]
Hopefully this makes things easy for you to keep up with the blog. For me, it means that I will no longer be posting updates to Facebook. Other than occasionally posting links to this blog, I don't check it. Therefore, this should be my last post. If that's how you follow this blog, you'll need to subscribe to get updates from now on.
Please note that you can comment on blog posts. Comments are moderated by me in order to avoid spam and other unpleasantries, so they don't post until I see and approve them.
