Round Six

I received round six of the chemo, which was scheduled to be the last one. However, due to circumstances up to this point, I will have two more rounds following this one that will hopefully get things to where they need to be and stabilize so we can move to the next phase. Given the low impact of side effects so far, it shouldn't be a big deal, although I may lose some of the new hair that has begun to fill in my scalp. All in all, small price to pay to continue this fight.

Additionally, I'm scheduled to have scans soon to see where we stand with the metastasized cancer. The results will help plot the course of future treatment.

In the meantime, this is red season. The Cardinals are beginning spring training, Ferrari has unveiled their 2020 F1 contender, Wales is defending their Six Nations Right title, and of course there's Valentine's Day. Joyful times, these, despite the depths of winter being upon us here.

Finally, I have decided to break with my usual political reticence and declare my affiliation in this election cycle:
