He had his follow-up with his doctor yesterday. Everything is going well with his recovery. He's being told the same thing that I am - it is going to take a while to get back to normal after this procedure. We both get tired pretty easily, which is frustrating at times, but very much to be expected.
Tom also has to take good care of his remaining kidney. He can expect it to take about six months for it to fully pick up the load that was carried by both kidneys previously. Not that he's having problems, just that he needs to be careful.
So, all continues to be well, and that is a very welcome blessing.
