Comments, Etc.

Comments are allowed on posts on this blog; however, they are moderated, meaning that I have to approve them before they are actually posted. I've learned from experience that not moderating comments becomes an opportunity for spam and other off-topic and even objectionable content to end up in the comments section. So, while I welcome your comments, when you submit one, I get a notification. I check the submission and then approve it for posting. I've yet to (knowingly) not clear a comment, although there was a delay while I was in the hospital, because Annie did not have the capability to do that for me.

Also, many of you end up here via Facebook. If you're one of my FB friends and haven't noticed already, I don't use FB much myself. Other than following our children, I don't check it much, and I rarely post anything. If I've missed your comments on my FB page, I apologize; it's nothing personal, just my less than enthusiastic relationship with that medium.
